When my parents were my age, the world was a different place. Every generation has its own characteristics and these qualities combined together create history. The generation I’m a part of is basically today’s world. My parents, at my age lived a completely different life in the 70s. Technology has developed in the last two decades, relationships have altered and, most importantly, priorities have changed.

Thirty years ago, teenagers didn’t go home and play Playstation or spend time on Facebook after school. Instead many young adults would be outdoors doing physical activities or, at least, doing something that  didn’t involve technology. My parents’ generation of people wasn’t used to “chatting” on the Internet, talking on the phone with friends or watching television series on portable “i-pads”. Even though my generation of people can’t imagine life without the Internet and a large part of our lives involve some kind of electrical gadget, the generations before us did not own a computer.
