The human rights issue continues in Iran, although this time they are looking to put a stop to it all. The Iranian president Hassan Rouhani made a speech in the UN that gave hope to the minority groups in Iran.

After the speech that Hassan Rouhani made on the 24th of September 2013, the world is waiting to see what actions will be taken against the human rights issues in Iran. One of the major steps towards solving this problem would be the release of the 115 Bahais who have been wrongly imprisoned. The Bahais are the countries largest non-muslim minority group.

How the president reacts to this issue will show how serious Iran is about solving their human rights problems.
