The End Is Not Near, It’s Here
I remember my first day. My very first class, my first class equipments that had cartoon characters on them, my first teachers… I even remember that I was the first one who ever spoke in the lesson. That’s where my Açı Journey began and here we are today after twelve years, still together, writing our farewell letters.
I know this is going to sound cliché but Açı gave me a lot more than a person would expect from a school. It taught me that a school is not just about math and science. It’s a philosophy, it’s where you grow up, and it’s a lifestyle. It has been twelve years since and the poster “Felsefemiz” still hangs high on the walls of the school. There are no other schools that have this kind of ambition and an addiction for what they believe. Açı believed in us and we believed in them back. That’s what kept us together for all these years.
Experiencing “The Açı Dream” is always going to be the most special thing I’ll ever done and I have no doubt that this priceless dream that we created will last forever. I want to thank all my teachers and my friends for sharing the dream with me and I also want to make a special thank to all my physical education teachers who carried me to the hospital every single time I injured myself –which by the way atleast twice a year. – I know this sound like an end but it’s not because what we have between us is very special and it should never ever end.
