Mobile technology has altered our lives and the change continues whether or not we are okay with it. Over the last decade, mobile technology has become more useful to us and we use it for almost everything. It has become handier than any other tool. A research has been conducted about how people are reacting to all this newly developed technology and polls have been made across US, Brazil, India, China, South Korea and South Africa.
These polls show that people check their phones frequently and almost three quarters of 25-28 years olds sleep with them. It also shows that India and Brazil are very open towards new technology and they want the latest there is. The US and UK are between being positive and neutral while South Korea is very cautious and feels more negative towards technology than any other countries.
According to the statistics, the Indian and Chinese populations use the most of technology for their every day lives compared to other countries. Brazil and India believe that being connected is a good thing while a part of South Koreans say that this connection makes us have less time to think. In the US, highly educated elites agree that mobile technology has made their work better and more productive. They also believe that they can be connected to the latest news and be better parents.
The author N.Gibbs states that the polls reflect on how much our use of mobile technology has grown over the years and most people are happy with this.
