It often also tells the origins of the culture or country it is from by telling different types of stories about them. The word myth refers to any invented story which has moral or spiritual importance. People feel a need to explain normal things that happens around us everyday, such as sunrise and sunset so they create creatures to be responsible for these events like gods, goddessess and heroes.
