Fictional books can contain critical views towards the media or government, who can obscure the reality in their country. Without fiction a writer cannot express his ideas and his thoughts of reality. The best example for this is George Orwell’s “Animal Farm”. This is a fictional book that has many exposures of the people in World War II. Orwell tries to expose the reality that Stalin is a terryfying person and the people are brainwashed by his victory. Orwell proves that fictional books can reveal the thruths of the world.
In the fictional books there are ideas and thruths that nobody believes. People banishe the ideas that are not beneficial for them. For example, “Lord of the Flies “ is a novel that reveals the true human instincts and behaviours. The british boys were known as the best disciplined boys in those days but Lord of the Flies shows us that the reality is obscured by civilized people and the truth is that every human being has a hunger for evil inside.
Fictional books are revealing the true character of a human being. In our daily lives we use classic phrases or behaviours to hide our real personalities. Fictional books makes us reveal the truth that we are hiding from other people. Not only books, but fictional films have some messages also. For example, the hero of the movie has an epiphany and he gives a meaningful message to the audience but reality obscures that by saying it is just a film.
People are opposing these ideas from fiction resources by proposing that it is fiction. Nonreal stories or books reveal the truth behind some classsical behaviours or an instinct. Fiction is the only way to deal with the obscured truth.
