In the January transfer window, many teams such as Galatasaray, bought a lot of players. Galatasaray head coach Roberto Mancini decided that the age average of the teams is too high, so he chose younger players that will bring that average lower.
Galatasaray team bought 8 players:
The first player is Izet Hajrovic, a 23 year old player from Bosnia. The Bosnian player’s transfer cost was 3.5 million euros, and he came to
Galatasaray from Grasshoppers. He plays as a right winger and is known for his long shots, skill moves and free kicks. He would fill up the missing part at the right wing spot at Galatasaray.
The 2nd transfer is Alex Telles form Gremio. The Brazilian player
cost 6.5 million euros. He plays at the left back spot, and is 22
years old so he is another youngster to the Galatasaray team with a lot of potential. He is known for his speed, ball control and he is a
spectacular set piece taker, which is a missing spot in Galatasaray although it has world class players such as Wesley Sneijder and Didier Drogba.
The 3rd player is Lucas Ontivero. He was born in 1994, which means the 19 year old is the youngest player in the Galatasaray roster. The
Argentinian youngster is a winger and he transferred to Galatasaray from
Centro Atletico Felix. He has a lot of potential and is seen by the fans as the next Leo Messi who is the world’s best player.
